A temporary site-specific installation by the bank of the River
Isla in Coupar Angus, Perthshire, where flooding has become increasingly
frequent in the last decade, bringing pieces of driftwood onto the
bank. Five pieces of driftwood concrete casts are placed from the
eroded cliff across to the roadside of the river bank. When there
is an overflow, the sculpture will be submerged and reappear when
water recedes. The driftwood is in blue which suggests a reflection
of the sky and a diminishing boundary between water and land.
