Born Free, 2001 Driftwood, Metal Born Free is an imaginary bird soaring up to the sky. It is constructed by adding a pair of metal wings to a piece of driftwood from Orkney. It is a symbol for the return of rare species to Scottish woodlands, such as the capercaillie, to Scottish woodlands. <<< Back
